'Natural' Food Label to be Introduced in 2016
|
Beginning in early 2016, the Organic and Natural
Health Association will roll out a certification program that will
offer a "natural" seal. The label will not be
government-approved, but is rather a self-selecting way for food
and drink producers to help consumers better understand their
product.

There is growing interest in updating processed food
recipes to remove artificial ingredients .... Companies with
reformulated products would then need to promote the advantages of
the products by using statements like "free" on the food
